Disk scanner also called disk checker. Disk checker is a utility that determine the physical and logical error on the hard disk, it solve the problem. It scan the hard disk drive to find the corrupted file and correct the error then working capacity will be increase in operating hard disk. It checks health of the hard disk. Problem is occur due to damage of parts, scratch on the disk like physically .Disk scanner is a maintained program that is install on the Microsoft operating system. It performs the task to increase the working capacity of computer. In window 98 have two disk scanner utilities and scan disk which determine the error and resolved the problem by disk cleanup. It search temporary data and removed the data.

I used ADRC hard disk checker. At first choose drive that should be scan and click on export button. Disk checker provide information like drive size, file system, sector, current sector, transfer rate, etc. to user. It also provides information about statistics.
